My journey into the world of web development began with learning WordPress. In the beginning, everything felt new, unfamiliar, and a bit overwhelming. However, through consistent practice, strong determination, and most importantly, the sincere support of our mentors, I am now able to work with confidence.
The Beginning Was Challenging
At first, I didn’t understand:
- How themes work
- How to use plugins
- What CPT (Custom Post Type) is
- How to build a complete website
Every option in the dashboard seemed confusing. Sometimes even a small mistake would break the entire design, which felt frustrating.
The Support of Mentors Was My Greatest Strength
Our mentors didn’t just teach classes — they treated our problems as their own.
- They patiently explained whenever we faced bugs
- They corrected our coding mistakes
- They guided us through practical projects to build confidence
- They continuously emphasized the importance of practice
What I appreciated the most was their patience. Even when we asked the same question multiple times, they always answered kindly.
Practical Learning Was a Game Changer
It wasn’t just theoretical learning — we worked on live projects.
- Creating custom themes
- Configuring plugins
- Setting up WooCommerce
- Designing responsive websites
- Optimizing website speed
At every step, our mentors supported us. This turned learning into real-world experience.
My Transformation
Before, I was just a regular user. Now, I can:
- Build websites independently
- Create custom post types
- Fix bugs
- Confidently take on client projects
The biggest credit for this transformation goes to my mentors.
Gratitude
I am truly grateful to my mentors. They didn’t just teach technical skills — they helped us develop confidence, patience, and a professional mindset.
This journey has taught me that with the right guidance and consistent practice, anything is possible.
